Olympic Games Definition & Which Means
The 2020 Summer Olympics were held in Tokyo in 2021 as a result of postponement from the COVID-19 pandemic. Tokyo turned the first Asian city to host the Olympics for the second time. During the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, a bomb was detonated on the Centennial Olympic Park, killing two individuals and injuring 111 others. The bomb was set by Eric Rudolph, an American domestic terrorist, who is serving a life sentence for the bombing. The 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City took place simply five months after the September eleven assaults, which meant the next level of safety than ever earlier than provided for an Olympic Games.
